After 21 gruelling days, cyclists competing in La Vuelta—one of the world's premier road cycle races—will reach Madrid for the final stage. The grand finale in 2024 will feature a 22-kilometre individual time trail through the streets of the capital, before the race comes to a close at the Telefónica Building on Gran Vía avenue. This finishing line has been chosen to mark 100 years of Spain's national telecommunications provider and parent company to Movistar. The competition, which celebrates its 79th edition in 2024, will be held from 17 August to 8 September.
