Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds has announced the dates for its latest tour, The Wild God Tour, which will be stopping off at the WiZink Center on 25 October. In this concert, the band led by the Australian musician will present the tracks from its eighteenth studio album, Wild God, which is the follow-on from Ghosteen (2019).

Formed in 1984 by two members of the defunct Australian band The Birthday Party, Nick Cave (singer, composer) and musician Mick Harvey, they were joined by guitarist Blixa Bargeld, member of the German band Einstürzende Neubauten, the former guitarist of the band Magazine Hugo Race and also member of the latter band Barry Adamson, bassist and pianist. With this line-up the band recorded and released their debut album From Her To Eternity in 1984.

From that moment on, the musical group led by Nick Cave has only been successful with albums such as Your Funeral...My Trial, Murder Ballads, Tender Prey, No More Shall We Part or Push the Sky Away. Now the alternative rock band is back with its seventeenth album three years after the release of Skeleton Tree (2016).

In 2019, Ghosteen was released, which is considered to be one of the artist's most emotionally intense albums. The follow-on from this album is the eighteenth studio album, Wild God, which will be released in August 2024 and can be heard on this latest tour.
