Madrid’s latest immersive cultural space is this brand-new museum that fuses technology and participatory art to reinvent the sensory experience, located on Gran Vía, next to the Plaza de España. This family-friendly educational space has been designed as an interactive platform that stimulates exploration of the unknown, different sensations, and encourages interaction with the environment.
Inside the NMI, the whole environment is integrated into the same concept that forces the visitor to question reality through trompe l’oeil lighting and special effects that transport you to the world of dreams, immersing you in a dynamic and unreal futuristic story. The latest advances in artificial intelligence applied to art, together with creative innovation and cutting-edge technological developments result in a sensory experience in which the public becomes an active part of the exhibition.
The museum has a small capacity to make the experience perfect.
NMI is also present in New York, Miami, and Washington.
Exhibition The World of Van Gogh
A new multi-sensory exhibition concept can be seen for the first time ever in Madrid until 21 July, which is groundbreaking compared with immersive proposals presented to date. A unique experience at the Nomad Immersive Museum, which enables visitors to follow the life of the painter through his masterpieces in motion, with the plot, details, history and most importantly, feelings told in the first person.
The World of Van Gogh invites visitors to discover the artist’s life and works accompanied by a 100% original soundtrack made in Spain by the composer from Alicante, Adrián Berenguer. His hypnotising music helps visitors to immerse themselves in a sensory trance and get carried away by the magic of Vincent Van Gogh. This exhibition is version 2.0 of multi-sensory art presenting a tale told in the first person with state-of-the-art technology, along with an immersive proposal.
